A Centering Meditation (or prayer)

  • Choose a word or phrase. (Peace. Patience. Forgiveness. Grace. Joy. Insight. Your call.)
  •  Speak the word or phrase 
  • Close your eyes and breathe 
  • Breathe in on a 4 count
  • Hold for 4 seconds
  • Breathe out for 4 seconds
    (circular breathing)
  • Repeat word or phrase.
  • Repeat for a while.
  • On the last repetition, repeat the word or phrase intentionally.
