What Just Showed Up? - The LG V60 Dual Screen - Product Ambassadors

During the last few months, the Product Ambassadors have been on hiatus; but we're back!  Today, several of us received the new LG V60 ThinQ 5G Dual Screen, Dual Carrier phone!  Dual Carrier? What's that?  This phone will work both with your legacy Sprint account, and with a quick SIM change on a new (or existing) T-Mobile account!

Key Features

LG Dual Screen™

Detachable 2 Screen Design
Dual 6.8” OLED FHD Displays
Multi-task, Work and Play Like Never Before

8K Video Recording (!)
Triple Camera System: 64 MP Standard, 13 MP Ultra-Wide and Z-Camera
All-Day 5,000 mAh Battery
5G Connectivity

Expandable memory via SD card up to 2TB!

32-bit quad DAC for the awesome sound LG has had in their ThinQ phones.

6.8” OLED FHD+ Cinematic FullVision™ Displays 20.5:9 (2460x1080)

Qualcomm Snapdragon™
865 Octa-core
Wi-Fi® Standards: Wi-Fi 6
Bluetooth® Wireless Technology Version 5.1

  • The second display is a 6.8"2 FHD+ OLED (2460 x 1080); 395 ppi and can be used for:
  • LG Game Pad – second screen doubles as a virtual joystick or game controller for mobile
  • gaming2 Dual Mirror Mode – use second screen as a live viewfinder when taking photos
  • Cover Display – view time and notifications when the device is folded
  • LG Smart Keyboard – use as an edge-to-edge keyboard for an on-the-go mini laptop
  • My Pick App – keeps most-used apps open on second screen

Unfortunately, it's summer, and no concert gatherings here, so we won't get to see how it does recording a full band concert or similar - but if it's as good as it's predecessors, it will be a brillaint media device.  I still use the LG V40 as a backup reel when taping high school band shows in case the primary camera has an issue!

Looking forward to testing this one out to the limits - including swapping between Sprint and T-Mobile accounts!
